Key takeaways

  • Start with the free edition of Small Town Buildings. It shows how our textures and scale behave in your engine before you spend anything.
  • Dungeon Rooms and Dungeon Props are built to be used together. Rooms give you the layouts and props give you the clutter, for under $7 combined.
  • Nature and Rocks share a clean low poly look. Together they cover trees, grass, stones and cliffs for outdoor maps.
  • Every pack ships as .blend or FBX. Unity, Godot and Unreal can all read them, though .blend files may need a one-time export to FBX or glTF.
  • Pixel-textured packs match each other. The town kit and the PSX weapon packs use the same texture style, so mixing them looks intentional.

What a low poly environment pack actually is (and what it is not)

A low poly environment pack is a set of 3D models for the places in your game: buildings, rooms, trees, rocks, furniture and clutter. The models use few triangles on purpose, so a whole scene stays cheap to draw on a phone, a handheld or an old laptop. They are meant to be placed in your engine and combined into levels.

It is not a finished level, a game template or a gameplay system. You still build the map, add colliders, set up lighting and write the logic. It also is not a photorealistic kit. Low poly art trades detail for readability, and the look only works if every asset in the scene follows the same rules for scale, texture size and colour.

That last point is the real reason to buy packs from one creator. Mixing a flat-coloured pack with a detailed one makes a scene feel patched together. Packs that share a texture style, a scale and a naming scheme drop into the same scene without fixing.

Format matters too. A .blend file keeps every model editable in Blender, so you can change bevels, merge meshes or repaint textures. FBX is the safer choice for dragging straight into Unity, Unreal or Godot. Check what each pack ships before you buy, and check the licence. Ours allow personal and commercial use, but you cannot resell the models as a pack.

How we ranked these

We ranked our own packs by itch.io sales and downloads, then noted the kind of game each one fits. Prices are the current itch.io prices.

Fit for a clear game type
Each pack has to serve a specific kind of game, such as horror, dungeon crawlers or outdoor prototypes, not a vague everything-pack.
Content you can count
We list the model count the store page states, so you can compare value per dollar without guessing.
Format and engine support
We note whether it ships as .blend or FBX and whether it imports into Unity, Godot and Unreal.
Price and a free way to try it
We compare itch.io prices and call out the free edition, because testing before paying cuts the risk.
Demand from real buyers
Where it helps, we use itch.io sales and downloads to show which packs other developers pick first.
